Itinerary

Your adventure begins at 15:00 when we meet at our office in Fethiye Marina. Fethiye, a charming coastal town surrounded by mountains and turquoise waters, sets the stage for your incredible journey. On the first evening, you’ll settle into the boat, enjoying a delicious dinner while getting acquainted with your fellow passengers. If everyone arrives on time and agrees, we may even begin our voyage right away. Otherwise, we’ll spend the night docked in Fethiye Marina, giving you time to explore the town’s bustling waterfront, cafes, and shops.

As we set sail in the morning, prepare for a day full of natural beauty. Our first stop is a serene bay where you can take a refreshing swim before enjoying a leisurely lunch on board. Afterward, we’ll make our way to the famous Blue Lagoon (Ölüdeniz), a world-renowned destination with its stunning white beaches and crystal-clear waters. Surrounded by pine trees and the tranquil blue sea, it’s also one of the top paragliding destinations in the world. After spending some time at the Blue Lagoon, we’ll sail towards St. Nicholas Island (Gemiler Island). Known for its fascinating Byzantine ruins and ancient churches, St. Nicholas Island is the perfect spot to explore history and nature. As the day winds down, prepare for an unforgettable hike to the island’s summit to witness a spectacular sunset. We’ll enjoy dinner and spend the night anchored at this historic island.

After a peaceful breakfast aboard the gulet, we’ll depart for Agalimanı Bay, a pristine destination characterized by its twin coves and stunning green hillsides. This day is dedicated to relaxation and adventure. You can swim in the calm waters, try your hand at fishing, or embark on a hike along the bay’s picturesque trails. For the adventurous, there’s the opportunity to trek to the ancient Lycian city of Lydae, a fascinating archaeological site nestled within the lush landscape. In the evening, enjoy a delicious dinner and a tranquil night in this breathtaking bay.

We begin the day with an early start, cruising for about two hours to reach the stunning Ekincik Bay, located at the tip of the Dalyan Delta. From here, you can opt for a boat trip along the Dalyan River to visit the ancient city of Kaunos. As you glide along the river, you’ll see the awe-inspiring Lycian rock tombs carved into the cliffs. The boat trip also includes a visit to the famous mud baths, known for their rejuvenating properties. Later in the day, unwind with a swim at Iztuzu Beach, a protected area where endangered Caretta Caretta turtles nest. Dinner and overnight will be at Ekincik Bay, offering a peaceful end to an adventure-filled day.

Today we sail toward the picturesque Gocek Marina, nestled outside the Gulf of Fethiye. Gocek is a true gem, with its natural harbor surrounded by lush pine forests and a serene atmosphere. The blend of greens and blues creates a heavenly scene, perfect for relaxing. Explore the quaint town of Gocek, known for its boutique shops, cafes, and warm, welcoming atmosphere. After a day of sightseeing and relaxation, we’ll enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at this charming marina.

After a hearty breakfast, we’ll head back into the Gulf of Fethiye, anchoring at the historic Tersane Bay, also known as Shipyard Bay. This ancient harbor was once used as a shipyard by the Lycians and is surrounded by intriguing ruins. The bay features a group of small islands, perfect for exploration and swimming. In the afternoon, we’ll continue to Monastery Bay, another ancient site with fascinating ruins waiting to be explored. With the beautiful blue sea and rich history all around, dinner and overnight will be spent immersed in this magical place.

Our final full day of sailing takes us along the stunning coastline of Fethiye Gulf. As we cruise past breathtaking views, you can enjoy a cocktail on deck or take a refreshing swim at one of our last stops. One of the highlights of the day is a visit to Red Island, which gets its name from the vibrant red hues it reflects at sunset. With its tiny white beach and diverse wildlife, including rabbits, turtles, and goats, this uninhabited island offers a serene and unique experience. In the late afternoon, we’ll make our way back to Fethiye Marina, where you’ll have time to explore the town’s historic sites, lively markets, and waterfront bars before a final dinner and overnight on board.

After one last breakfast on board, it’s time to say goodbye to the crew and your fellow travelers, who by now may feel like lifelong friends. At 09:00 AM, we’ll disembark at Fethiye Marina, bringing this unforgettable journey to a close.

FAQs

What is a cabin charter?

A cabin charter is a type of shared cruise where you book a cabin on a traditional gulet yacht, instead of renting the whole vessel. It’s a great way to explore beautiful maritime destinations and meet fellow travelers from diverse backgrounds.

What type of boat is used for the cabin charter?

We use Turkish gulets, which are motorized sailing yachts. These vessels range in size from 15 to 43 meters, often featuring 2-3 masts and enough space for 2 to 16 cabins, depending on the gulet’s size.

Are children allowed onboard?

Typically, children under 6 years old are not permitted on standard cabin charters. However, family-friendly cruises may allow kids—check specific tour policies to confirm.

Do I need sailing experience to join a cabin charter?

No prior experience is required. Our professional crew takes care of all sailing duties, so you can relax and enjoy your journey.

Will I have my own private cabin?

Yes, each guest or couple is assigned a private cabin. These cabins come with either a double or twin beds and include basic amenities. Keep in mind that cabins are generally more compact than hotel rooms.
Please note that there is an additional charge of 70% for one person staying in a cabin.

Is there air conditioning on board?

Air conditioning may be available on certain gulets but is not always guaranteed. Most gulets rely on natural ventilation from open windows and sea breezes.

Are there restrictions on luggage?

Yes, due to limited storage, we recommend bringing soft luggage like duffel bags, which are easier to store. Hard-shell suitcases are discouraged.

What should I pack for a cabin charter?

Suggested packing list:

  • Comfortable clothing and swimwear
  • Sunblock, hat, and sunglasses
  • Towels for sunbathing (bath towels are provided)
  • Personal toiletries
  • Camera or smartphone
  • Soft-soled shoes for walking on deck (no hard shoes allowed)

Are meals included in the price?

Yes, meals are typically included, covering breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner. Some packages may also include non-alcoholic beverages, while alcoholic drinks are usually available at an extra cost.

What if I have special dietary requirements?

Please inform us of any dietary restrictions ahead of time. However, keep in mind that we may not be able to accommodate all special requests due to limited kitchen resources on board. If you have strict dietary needs, we suggest bringing your own items.

What happens if the weather is bad?

Safety is always our priority. The captain has the discretion to alter the itinerary or take necessary actions based on weather conditions. If sailing is not safe, we will dock at a marina or safe anchorage until the weather clears.

What activities are available during the cruise?

You can enjoy various activities such as:

  • Swimming in secluded bays
  • Snorkeling with onboard gear
  • Canoeing
  • Fishing
  • Hiking and exploring ruins during land stops
  • Sunbathing and stargazing on deck

What if I need medical assistance during the trip?

Please bring any essential medications. While the crew is trained in basic first aid, the boat has limited medical equipment. In the event of an emergency, we’ll sail to the nearest port for assistance.

Can I smoke on board?

Smoking is allowed in designated outdoor areas only. Smoking is prohibited inside the cabins and indoor sections of the gulet.

What if I have a problem during the trip?

If you face any issues, please speak with the captain, who is in charge of onboard matters. For any concerns that cannot be resolved on the boat, you can contact our 24/7 support team.

How much should I tip the crew?

Tipping is appreciated but not mandatory. If you’re satisfied with the service, a standard guideline is 5-10% of the total charter price, shared among the crew.
